Presentation of two Italian documentaries “Tessere di pace in Medio Oriente” and “Verso il Santo Sepolcro”

On December 4th, at 5 pm, the Italian Cultural Institute, the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and RAI – Radio Televisione Italiana, will present the two documentaries “Tessere di pace in Medioriente” and “Verso il Santo Sepolcro” at the amphitheatre John Paul II of the USEK.

These documentaries, produced by RAI Cinema, show the activities realized by late Father Michele Piccirillo, a Franciscan from the “Custodia di Terra Santa” religious order, who was an internationally renown archaeologist, specialized in the Middle East Byzantine mosaics. Father Piccirillo was famous also for his researches in the Holy Land and his archaeological excavations on the Nebo Mount – Syyagha, in Jordan.
