The General Directorate for Development Cooperation (Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) has officially approved two new development initiatives for a total amount of 800.000 Euros:

In partnership with the Ministry of Finance and the Institute of finance Basil Fuleihan: the project “Capacity building for public procurement”, for a total amount of 400.000 Euros. This initiative aims at improving the management of the national system of procurement through strengthening the reform process currently underway;

In partnership with the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities: the project “Improvement of living conditions in Lebanese prisons”, for a total amount of 400.000 Euros. This initiative aims at assisting the reform process of Lebanese prisons and enhancing the living conditions in the prisons of Roumieh and Zahle.
