CIVIL STATUS

For transmission in the Comune of Italy of acts listed below, the original document issued by the competent Lebanese Civil Status Office must be presented to this Consulate together with Italian translation, performed by an official translator and legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon.
At the moment this Embassy also provides for the transmission of acts issued in Syria, which will go to the same procedure (Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) before being exhibited.
For requests of transmission is not necessary to make an appointment.
For the practices of "recognition as natural child" and "recognition of foreign judgments" is mandatory to obtain an appointment (05/954955 cons.beirut@esteri.it).
