The Visa Information System started operating on 10 May 2012
In order to improve the service provided to visa applicants, and especially to shorten the delays for an appointment, the Embassy of Italy in Beirut is now collaborating with an outsourcing company.
To apply for a visa, you shall contact “TLScontact” from Monday to Friday between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. (Tel: 00961 1 669 888) or log on to the website
www.tlscontact.com/lb2it, in order to set an appointment through the company itself (with an additional fee amounting to 56.000 L.P.) or, upon request, directly at the counter of the Embassy, but in such case, delays will be longer.
The additional price of the new procedure is added to the Schengen Visa fees:
- 60 € Schengen Visa
- 35 € Schengen Visa for children (6-12 years-old)
- Gratis Schengen Visa for children under 6 years
- 116 € National Visa
IMPORTANT: TLScontact service is limited to collecting the applications and
in no stage of the proceedings, it has a role in assessing applications for entry visas and consequent decisions.
The decision to grant or deny a visa belongs solely to the Embassy, which assess all applications for visas in accordance with the "Schengen system" rules and procedures.
Requested documentation
N.B.:
- The passport shall be valid for at least three months after visa expiry date;
- For married women, payment shall be made using their maiden name.
